Message: Been living on South Side of Allentown 21 years. Susquehanna Street 7-11 goes thru lot of employees so never get to know anyone. But owner is a sweetheart. After even sporadic trips at times sheba gentleman who might be homeless still remembers my name and greets me. This is what keeps me coming back to this location even if I know I'm spending a little more for an item. Just feels good to have a store owner care.. Store is usually always well stocked, and clean. (And with location and people throwing trash all over a lot of the time, the lot is above average on cleanliness! ). Only issue is pretty much customers leaving losing lottery tickets all over the place and ATM is back of store so always looking over my shoulder when getting cash out. Never pay ATM fee and can get minimal cash back at register which is good if you need a few $$. Owner allows gentleman ( who may be homeless) to play his guitar for a donation, which I'm totally fine with because he's NOT pushy. And that also, is a rarity for store owners anymore.. There are the few homeless who get up in your face for change, and can see them as you go in store so to avoid if they're pushy.. Other then this LONG REVIEW, definitely recommend Susquehanna Street Allentown(South Side) location! (Just watch when backing up, crazies like to cut you off in lot, ALMOST causing several accidents over the years).
