Message: You must try these donuts! The owner/baker truly is a chef of donuts, cookies, bread and lemon drizzle loafs! His cranberry nut loaf at Christmas is amazing too! We always travel from Ligonier to get the BEST donuts in western PA. Don’t believe me, taste them for yourself! I heard the coffee is AMAZING too! UPDATE: Just found out Donut Chef is under new ownership! Met the husband and wife duo who are very nice! Very excited with their addition of new flavors especially the Oreo Donuts! But don’t worry, they are keeping the original recipes that made these donuts AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

Message: My family comes here any time we possibly can! Everything we get from here we eat because it is all so good! The turnovers are my favorite, and I will get as many as I can to have them for a few days since we don't live anywhere close. Nothing compares to the donut chef in pastries or prices. I'd give 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

Message: Great little bakery along Rt 22. WONDERFUL DONUTS! You just can't any fresher. Be forewarned, when they're sold out that is it for the day. It is definitely worth the time to stop when you are travelling that way. Real Lemon pound cake for $4. 00 a loaf. Ohh, by the way fresh pumpernickel bread. Love everything we have tried. Throw in the towel Dunkin.
