Message: Place looks like a 1960’s time capsule,. Pastries and designs, nothing sexy except for 2 sleeves of macaroons, which I doubt if it’s home made. I got some very good (! ) sprinkled cookies and left. I’d spend more, especially before the weekend, but the place has no “shopping vibe”, Its sleepy.

Message: Kaplan’s has wonderful baked goods and incredible prices too. The staff is always so friendly and sweet. But the best part is how the neighborhood smells like fresh baked goods. Love this place.

Message: I recently added their multi grain bread to my list of favorite breads from Kaplan's. Toasted with butter, it's really good or for any kind of sandwich you like to make.. delicious! We have been purchasing Kaplan's rye and challah bread for a long time. It's really good. We use the rye bread for all kinds of sandwiches. The challah bread makes excellent French toast. Recently, my husband brought home the best chocolate crumb cake. Delicious!
