Message: Diagnosis: Severe Sciatica Pain, Past Spine Surgery, Sleepless nights. I've had acupuncture in the past but never had results from other places. Dr. Gu was only there one of my four day treatment and he help me get started. I came in on day 1 unable to walk nor stand straight. I went 4 days in a row due to living out of town. Message: Been going here and sending friends here with everything from pinched nerve, headaches, back pain, leg pain, acid reflux, severe stiff neck, vertigo type symptoms after nerve damage for a wisdom tooth extraction, allergies, etc. Expect to spend 45-60 min here. You will have a short 5 min meeting with the doctor, where they will ask the purpose of your visit is. You will then proceed to a private room, be asked to take your shirt and sometimes pants (leave your underwear on). You will lie down, and the doctor will then insert the needles. Be relaxed during this time, trust me. It's not really painful, but whatever you do, don't move. Once inserted, you will continue to lay there for 30-45 min. Time tends to fly. You will know what I mean. After the time has passed, the doctor will come back and remove the needles. You will then be advised on proposed number of visits needed. Keep in mind, severe conditions may need more than 3 visits. In comparison, allergies for me took 1. Open your mind, this works for most, and I have had positive feedback on 95% of people I sent here.
